The Word of God is My Strength

My name is Catherine Lee of Cell Group CK4.  I accepted the Lord more than 30 years ago and have been with GCC for the past 8 years. Today, I would like to share my testimony on how my life was blessed after I enrolled for Bible School as well as having good achievements in my career by applying the Word of God.

I am not the studious-type.  I will always yawn whenever I start to read.  Therefore I would yawn occasionally during class. However, Pastor loved us so much and allowed us to take sweets or snacks during classes. There was a senior brother in the class.  He was supposed to be an observer. However, he became one of us as student after pastor’s encouragement. Having seen his studying attitude, it encouraged and spurred me to have the persistency to complete my study in Bible School.

I was never lonely in class because we have interaction and encouragement among one another.  We did homework together.  We even used music when we recite the word in the Bible.  We had revision & took our exam together.  In fact, attending Bible School is a very interesting and joyful thing to do. In the eyes of my relatives, friends and even colleagues, I am a superwoman.  They reckoned I would not give up easily and I also agreed I am like that. However, during my Bible School, I learnt to balance myself.  I learned when to be persistent and when to be submissive.

As for my career, I also learnt to respect my colleagues and subordinates. By patiently using the Word of God, I taught them to elevate themselves to become even better in what they are doing.  I was able to witness their improvements.  All glory to God! Brothers and sisters, as long as we hunger and thirst for the Word of God, we will experience that there is nothing impossible in Him.  The Word of God is the lamp to my feet, the light to my path, guiding me whenever I am in need. God’s Words make me strong when I am weak;The Word of God is my strength.

Psalm 119:89-90 : “Forever, O Lord, Your Word is settled in heaven.  Your faithfulness endures to all generations;You established the earth, and it abides.” The Word of God abides and endures forever and because of the Word of God, our lives can be an impact and influence.  I highly recommend all of us to enroll for the Church’s Equipping Stations as well as the Bible School.  You will surely benefit greatly.  Thank you.
